Asano Twist is a “thread” company. We’ve been operating for 50 years in the rich river water environment of the Seino region.

Since our founding in 1967, we’ve continued to grow, developing composite twisted yarns that allow us to freely manipulate synthetic fibers. However, around 2000, cheap overseas textile products began to take over, and work suddenly plummeted. The company was at rock bottom. My wife and the few remaining employees joined forces to find a way to revive it.

We arrived at the idea of “striving to be unique rather than number one,” using inimitable technology to create final products and bring them to market.
